Little Loop Beanie Hat Knitting Pattern by Gilliangladrag

A quick and easy to knit, lightweight, knitted beanie hat, knitted here in Malabrigo Mechita 100% Merino superwash yarn (hand dyed in colour 'Pearl'). You could also knit this hat using our Scheepjes Metropolis.

Suitable for all weathers and easy to wear, - the top of the beanie tapers in loosely at the crown with a very cute gently pleated flower petals shape, so it’s not too fitted at the top. Finished off with a very sweet 'little loop’ at the very top, made from knitted i-cord :-)

You'll need : 

1 x 100g skein of Malabrigo Mechita (takes half the skein so you could knit 2 hats, or make something else to match!) OR 1 x 50g ball of Scheepjes Metropolis

1 x pair 3.25mm circular needles (40cm long)

1 x pair 2.75mm circular needles (40cm long)

1 x set DPNs 3.25mm (optional if you prefer to use the magic loop method, but I did use them for the i-cord loop)
